Individual Coaching

Show Up for Yourself Like You Show Up for Everyone Else.

Because taking care of yourself doesn’t have to come at everyone else’s expense.

You show up for work, family, and everyone who needs you. But your own needs keep getting postponed. I help you make time for meals, movement, and sleep—even on busy days.

Book a 30-Minute Call

We’ll meet on Zoom for 30 minutes to talk about what you need and whether coaching could help. No preparation is needed. Booking a call does not enroll you in coaching, and you don’t need to choose a coaching option first.

When everyone else comes first

You already know what you should be doing.

You plan to pack lunch, take a walk, or go to bed earlier. Then a meeting runs late, someone needs help, or there’s one more task to finish.

Knowing what to do is only part of it. We look at what makes it hard to follow through and find a way that fits your day.

The real outcome

Become as reliable to yourself as you are to everyone else.

The goal is to take care of yourself more often, without doing it perfectly. Together, we work toward:

  • making room for meals, movement, and rest
  • having a simpler plan for busy days
  • getting back to a routine after a missed day

These habits can help you have more energy for work, family, and yourself.

Why work with a coach?

You can make changes on your own. But when the same plan keeps falling apart, it can be hard to see what needs to change. You may end up trying harder or blaming yourself.

A coach brings a fresh view, training, and support while you put changes into practice. I ask questions, help you spot patterns, and work with you to find a step that fits your life. Then we look at what happened, build on what worked, and adjust what didn’t. You don’t have to figure out every next step alone.

Why work with me?

I bring years of study in nutrition and habits, coach training, and experience helping clients make changes. I also know what it’s like to fit health needs into a full life.

Living with type 1 diabetes since childhood has taught me to plan, adapt, and keep caring for myself when the day changes. I’ve done that while running businesses, working in corporate America, and traveling. Your life won’t look exactly like mine. I bring that experience to our conversations while helping you find what works for you.

How coaching works

One goal: become more consistent about taking care of yourself.

If we decide to work together, we’ll focus on a change that matters to you. Here’s how we turn that goal into something you can try in daily life.

01

Find your starting point

We choose a change that matters to you. Then we look at what makes it hard. That may include a busy schedule, small things that get in your way, or feeling your needs must wait until everything else is done.

02

Choose a small step you can take

We find a step that fits your day. You might pack lunch for work, take a short walk, or set aside time to get ready for bed. You try it, and we look at what worked and what didn’t.

03

Build consistency with support

Through regular coaching conversations and check-ins, we work through what gets in the way. We plan for busy days, adjust when life changes, and find a way to restart after a missed day.

A client’s experience

“I wanted to get started walking again but just couldn’t get that first walk going. Dan gave me specific instructions on when, where, and how to start — and encouraged me to start slowly. I started the next morning and haven’t stopped. He’s a terrific coach, keeps in touch, and I highly recommend him.”
— Arlene Conti, Journey for Life

A coaching client’s experience

“At first I was skeptical, but Dan quickly got to the core of what I needed in order to make much-needed changes. His outside perspective and thoughtful questions were very effective. Dan helped me achieve a ‘mindset reset’ without it feeling overwhelming or invasive. I highly recommend Dan Littman.”
— Bob Forton

Clarity that makes change more achievable

“Dan has a rare ability to get underneath the goal you think you want and help you understand what you’re really trying to accomplish. He asks thoughtful questions that create clarity, then helps break ambitious changes into smaller, sustainable steps. Sometimes I realize I don’t actually want what I thought I was supposed to want. Other times, something that felt impossibly hard becomes achievable without turning my whole life upside down. I consistently walk away from conversations with Dan with more clarity than I had going in.”
— Charles Calabritto

Frequently asked questions

A few things you may be wondering.

Do I need to choose a coaching option before we talk?

No. Tell me what you’d like help with. We’ll talk about whether coaching could help and what might make sense for you.

Can coaching help if I already know what to do?

Yes—that’s who I help. We look at what makes it hard to follow through and find a way that fits your day.

Do I need to change everything at once?

No. We start with what matters most to you, try one small step, and build from there.

What happens when life interrupts the plan?

We plan for that. We find a simpler option for busy days and a way to get back to your routine after a break.

Is this medical care, nutrition treatment, therapy, or counseling?

No. Healthy Human Coaching provides coaching and behavior-change support. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, psychotherapy, or other licensed clinical services.

You don’t have to figure out the whole plan first

Taking care of yourself doesn’t have to wait.
